Chris McCarthy is a Safety Professional bringing 25+ years of construction and material handling experience to Beyond Bold. Having spent his career operating in a variety of roles in the construction industry, his career gravitated toward Safety and Worker Well-being.  These experiences have provided him with a unique perspective and connection to front line workers, accident investigation, insurance, training, leadership and how they tie together to equal both success and excellence.  He believes that prioritizing the health and wellness of a workforce will result in a profitable and sustainable business.

Graduating from Bridgewater State University where Chris majored in Sociology and played collegiate basketball, he was able to experience and learn life/work management as he was simultaneously starting his construction career.  

Chris attributes much of his professional success to his exposure to a wide range of disciplines within construction.  His leadership skills were developed as a Safety Professional and improved upon when he took on a role as the Director of Safety for a reputable construction company based in Boston & NYC where he curated and developed a department of 25+ safety professionals managing work in 13+ states.  

In his personal life Chris likes to challenge himself both physically and mentally.  He likes to navigate beyond his comfort zone competing in paddle sports and adventure races when he can.  He also enjoys supporting his children in their endeavors ranging from motocross, gymnastics, surfing and volleyball.  Chris and his wife Julia prioritize both mental and physical for themselves and their children.
